About Me

My name is Linda Ruskauff and I love sewing and embroidering. This includes quilts, embroidery, clothing and whatever else I am in the mood to try.

My embroidery career started six years ago when I purchased my first Bernina embroidery machine and discovered the world of machine embroidery. The rest is history.

I love learning new techniques and am constantly looking for new and better ways to embroider. As a result, I have now opened my first web store, The ,Stitch Sanctuary to share my knowledge with other embroiderists.

I am also a proud mother of a 6, 12, and 14 year old. As my kids and business grow together it is a wonderful teaching tool for them. My 14 year old son can now operate an embroidery machine like a pro and my 12 year old loves to help with color selection. As for my 6 year old, she always wants one of whatever I am making for a customer.
